I will tell you that I know how to hack the hardware and get all the juice. Mainly what we do is turn it into a media center, but it also will allow us to play isos of the games console.
Some things we can do after following this tutorial are:
- Access and view videos, photos, listen to music from shared folders on the local network.
- Transferring files from / to the console's hard drive.
- DVD'sa rip a shared folder or hard drive, including movies, games and data.
- Watch videos on Youtube on TV.
- Read news feeds through Internet.
- View trailers of the movies release on Apple Movie Trailers on TV directly.
- Check the weather is going to do in our city.
- Watch DVD movies on the console without having the remote control (although I've bought second hand for 7 € and the truth is that for the media center seems very interesting)
Required Elements
First of all we will see that we need to perform the procedure, I recommend that you succeed in anything because it all before so you'll be stuck evitareis in some way because of something you have not you.
- Xbox
- Original Splinter Cell (it can not copied, nor Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory)
- Action Replay Kit: a memory card and a unit that can plug the pc via usb, thus load the software on the console, I buy it online for about 40 €, a bit pricey, but if you want to open the console is best.
- Crossover cable to connect the PC to the console and load the software once hacked, or a router to be able to plug.
- Software for the process ( Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0.Xbox-Hq.rar )
- XBMC (Xbox Media Center, XBMC-2.0.1-FINAL-FAT-T3CH.rar )

Next Steps

Running the exploit
